A vintage Spitfire fighter aircraft ornament sitting on a stand in an exciting in-flight pose. The aircraft is solid brass and appears to have been hand-crafted by someone, perhaps during the World War Two period or maybe sometime after. The brass propeller turns which is a nice touch, and there is an authentic patina of age in the form of pitting in the brass which shows up as dark marks or crazing.
