A French decorative antique cast-iron female hand door knocker. This is an original antique piece. At some time in its life it was painted black (probably to match the door) and much of the paint is now chipped showing the cast-iron beneath.
An original piece of door decor which is a quality and solid piece with a shabby chic finish.
Condition: used shabby chic antique condition with expected age-related wear such as such as patina of age and chippy black paint showing the cast iron beneath.

Hang: once fitted to door the hand hangs approx. 12 cm (4 and 3/4'')
Width across hand is: approx. 5 cm (approx: 2'')
