A French antique ironstone jug/pitcher in white with blue bird and floral transfer pattern. These jugs were once used to hold water and pour into a bowl for washing and these days are great as home decor. There is a maker's mark underneath for, H B and Cie. Circa. late 1800s to early 1900s.

Condition: good used antique condition with the expected age-related wear such as minor crazing and a tiny nibble and hair on the spout (see photo 12).

Width (from spout to handle): approx. 21 cm (approx. 8 and 1/4 '')
